An important feature is that we work as a team, following the rules of the COT-HCD (Centre for Orthopaedics and Traumatology/Hospital Cuf Descobertas).
We train younger and less experienced colleagues, support each other in all sessions—particularly during surgeries—and strive to integrate the newer members into the concepts and principles of diagnosis and treatment adopted in the overall approach to the patient by their physician and discussed with the whole team. By working as a team, we are able to discuss and present the most complex, interesting, or rare clinical cases, with the aim of providing our patients with the best, most up-to-date, and safest treatment for their condition.
